This Matona cardigan has been entirely made of recycled & sustainable materials. The contained Polyamide is 100% recycled from left overs from yarn/fabric production, heavily reducing pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, textile waste and consumption of energy and scarce resources and translating into a much reduced environmental impact.

About Matona: Matona is a small, family run label for kids and grown ups. Katharina & David are behind the brand - the photographer and the fashion designer got to know each other in Munich where they lived, studied and worked for many years. After the birth of their first son in 2016 the family headed back to Katharina´s roots in the Austrian Alps, where they founded Matona and have lived and worked ever since. It all started with Katharina making her son's clothes on her own. The production has shifted to Portugal since then, all collections are produced in small, GOTS certified factories and are available in selected stores all over the world.
